Holly Lomax on Instagram: "How can I make my windows look bigger? Sometimes, sadly, we are not blessed with lovely large windows! But fear not, there is a trick to make them look bigger!! 🪟✨👀 Blinds usually hang just above the window, partially covering the top. But if you hang it a little bit higher and make sure the open blind covers as little of the window as possible, it makes your window appear taller ⬆️ The same applies for pelmets - if you hang them high, with the bottom of the pelmet just touching the top of the window, as @ritakonig has done here, you can make your window seem larger, especially when there are curtains either side. Suddenly, your eye perceives the whole mass of window, curtain and pelmet to be ‘the window’. The window in this photo is actually pretty smal
