Amazing pair of estimated 1940s Abercrombie & Fitch hunting boots, very likely made for Abercrombie stores by Gokey of St. Paul, Minnesota- identical in every detail to Gokey "botte sauvage" snake proof boots. Very thick heavy leather throughout. In excellent condition for age, heavy waxy coating, general patina from use, some scuffs and surface wear to leather; very wearable, soles are excellent. No size marked, fits US Men's 11. Exterior sole measures approx. 13 inches, interior insole measures approx 12 inches, width is 4.5 inches, heigh is 18 inches.
