1950s Polka Dot Dress in Yellow and White B Siegel Co Detroit Belted Drop Waist Full Skirt Flattering Fit Wonderful Silouette Classic Design This dress is really fabulous. It has a waist and belt combination that you don't see very often. The fabric is light and comfy. Amazing with a crinoline underneath. Condition is very good. There are a few very small and light marks on the back. Almost look like pencil. See photos. The belt is in good condition. The buckle has discoloring which may be rust coming through from the metal buckle? I have not tried to remove that. The bow on the shoulder has a few missing rhinestones. Measurements are approx. 36" bust 28" waist Open hip 45" shoulder to hem This dress belonged to Angeline, she was a very interesting but rather secretive lady. She was my great aunt. Always dressed in the most current fashions, Angie shopped at Saks, Hudson's and many other great stores of the time. She loved hats, heels, purses and jewelry and wore it all well.
