These lovely steampunk spats are one-of-a-kind and ready to ship! All my spats are designed to fit any type of high heel shoe. These ones are made of a single layer of beige brocade upholstery fabric featuring some brown accents and ornated with antique gold braided trim, bobbin lace trim on the sides, and dark brown satin bias tape on the sides of the front closure and on the top and bottom edges. They also feature a hand pleated satin ribbon on the sides for extra texture. The front closure holds nylon bones in place. These bones help the spats stay straight and reinforce the closure to keep its shape. The brown rat tail lacing passes through handmade rat tail cord lacing loops. Laces give a bootie feel and allow a nice fit at the same time. The tab underneath the laces is a floating panel suspended from the laces to get a perfect adjustment and close the front gap nicely. There's an elastic strap underneath the shoe sole that closes with two snap buttons to keep the spat in place. Elastic ensures a nice and firm adjustment to any kind of shoe so the spat stays in place covering the foot and the shoe. Snap buttons can be relocated on the elastic to achieve a really perfect fit. *Size info Ankle - fully closed. 22cm or 8 1/2 '' - can be opened to 28cm or 11'' How to put them on: Step 1: unfasten the snap buttons on the understrap and loose the front lacing until your foot slides in effortlessly. There's plenty of lacing though you might need to undo part of it. Step 2: put the gaiters on like if they were leg warmers with bare foot/socks/tights. Step 3: put your shoes on and insert your heels by fastening the snap buttons under the sole of your shoes. Tighten the front lacing to adjust.
