Now our recipe is going to show you double this. I'm halfing the recipe because we don't need a whole nine by thirteen of sunshine squares. Sweet syrup. Let me see that. Yeah it looks right. And you're going to flatten it out in your pan. In your face. Yes. It just it you're right. Put it like that. Wow. Bake it at 325 for about 20 minutes. Alright. We got our crust out of the oven so it's golden brown. You're going to take a fork and put don't poke em all the way through. You don't want to go all the way to the the bottom of the crust. We just want some holes in here for the lemon filling to get through to this crust. Okay, just like that. Now, we're going to make the lemon fill. Gonna take one cup of sugar. It says have it sifted so I've got my little sifter. I never got the sifting part like what is it? It just for some reason, I don't know why but it takes, it makes it real fine. Okay. Three tablespoons of all-purpose flour. Just sift it right on down in there and it does make it. It it makes a difference. See how them clumps won't be in our filling. It gets all the clumps out. Then, when you shake it, it dissolves the clumps. Yeah. I like them clumps dissolved. Yeah, I don't like the clump. Okay, now you're going to take your whisk. Mm hmm. Whisk your sugar and your flour together and then you're going to add in three eggs. For our filling. All together. Don't cut that much off. Now, see how. Oh, it's runny. Yeah. It's not lumpy at all. Uh huh. See, we need to remember that with the powdered sugar because you know, we use that powdered sugar, it's always a mess. Yes. Now, you're going to take a half a cup of lemon juice. Mm hmm. Put This will be your lemon filling for your sunshine squares. Once you have it all good and mixed up we're going to pour it on to our crust bake it at 325 for about 22 minutes Here we go. Get them little bitty holes. Oh yeah, that's nice. It should be say it not jiggling when you get it. When you get it done. In the oven, yes. But it's still hot. That's still scorching hot. So, it's not. So, we gotta watch out. And we're going to put it in the oven. Alright, see you in a few minutes. Alright, Kim. Hey, we've got it out of the oven. Look at that. Our Sunshine Bars. Mmm. Oh, looking nice. I need to let it cool a little bit longer. That's alright. But we can Yeah, that's what you need to do is let it cool a little bit longer, I do believe. But it looks nice and crunchy. It looks good. Does look good. Look at that. Yeah, I think it'll set a little bit there if you just let it cool. We let it cool about 5 minutes. I think it needs a little longer. Mm hmm. But I can go ahead and take a little bite. Yeah. They're really good. You like that? Of course I love anything sweet. Yeah I do too.
