The tendency is to add more petals but then it quickly becomes overworked. ⁣ ⁣ As for the reference, I love having the real deal but often times I get too obsessed about every detail I see. I lose the intuitive process (and joy) of painting when I do this. That’s why I said to observe it but then put it away. ⁣ ⁣ Anyway, here’s what I used:⁣ • My size 8 wedge brush in collaboration with @craftamo • Canson XL watercolor paper⁣ • a mix of Rhodonite Genuine and Alizarin Crimson (you could just use one though), Green Grey, and Undersea Green. ⁣ ⁣ Have a beautifully blessed day! ☺️☀️⁣🥀 ⁣ #watercolorreel⁣ #watercolorrose #paintingreels Rose Bud Watercolor, Watercolour Rose Painting, Rose Bud Painting, Bud Painting, Alizarin Crimson, Painting 101, Drawing Flowers, Watercolor Lessons, Art Study
