Sumer Schmitt | Schmitt’s Creek Farm on Instagram: "✨ 3 Reasons Why We Chose a Lean-To Barn 1. Less Expensive - when compared to a center-aisle barn the cost to build a lean-to barn is considerably less. 2. Shade + Protection from Elements - our horses have 24/7 access to the barn, which means they can seek shelter anytime they need it. We often find them standing underneath the overhang on sunny afternoons. 3. Functionality - the outside of the barn functions much like a “center aisle” where we are still able to cross-tie the horses for grooming + tacking up. We finished construction on our barn last summer and have absolutely loved it for our animals!
