Don't celebrate halloween

I personally do not celebrate Halloween, but I don't condemn others who do. We all have different beliefs and convictions.

Don't be deceived.. You say God knows my heart! He sure does.. the Bible says the heart is deceitful above all things.. who can know it?! Your heart will lie to you

Should Christians celebrate Halloween? Does Halloween have a mixture of Christian and pagan origins?

Halloween is a pagan holiday promoting Satanism, idolatry, witchcraft, sorcery, necromancy, and the occult. None of these things should exist in the life of a Christian! They are spiritually dangerous, and should be avoided at all costs.

Every year, Halloween is such a hot topic among Christians, especially this year (2022) was the worst judgment I’ve ever seen. Christians chastise other Christians for either decision, and I’ve seen arguments that “everything is pagan and that if we don’t celebrate Halloween then we shouldn’t celebrate Christmas”. I am giving BIG eye rolls at this comment and I will address this shortly.

This may well be the most controversial post I’ve ever written but I‘m not writing this to be controversial. We do not celebrate Halloween. I’ve never celebrated Halloween. I grew up without celebrating it and for what I consider valid reasons, which I will explain at the bottom, still don’t.
