UNALTERED 'Osiride' (Asar-ide) Head of Hatshepsut
Nesi (Pharaoh and Great Royal Queen) Maat-Ka-Re Hat-Shepsut - Hatshepsu means "Foremost of Noble Ladies"(of the Het Heru), 18th Dynasty, New Kingdom. Kemit. This is a head from an 'Osiride' statue of her from her Memorial Temple (Djeser Djeseru), at Djeser (Deir al Bahri). Compare with the 'malevolently restored' Osiride statues at her Temple. 18th Dynasty, New Kingdom. -AK
