What does crowdsourced mean?

Basically, it means we build it together. We created the tool, now all you need to do is add organizations for people to find and assist.

How do I add an organization?

It's easy. First search for the organization. If we can find it and don't know it you can click the "Create Organization" button on the map. If we cannot find it you can click the "Create Organization" at the bottom of the organization list below the map. Searching first lets us get some information loaded automatically to help you on your way.

There are no organizations from my community listed. How do I get involved?

Create the listings yourself! We recommend getting some help, like by hosting a gathering where everyone brings their computer and adds new resources.

I'm an organizer at a site listed on your website. How do I add to my page, set up donations, etc?

First on your organizations page, make yourself an employee. We will email you the instructions to do the rest once we confirm your role.

What do I need an account for?

Without an account, you can find services in your community, share them with other people, add and describe providers and their services, and contact providers through the info they've listed. With an account, you can also respond to help requests, post and comment on updates, and make help requests of your own.
