System requirements

  • WebServer: Apache 2.2, 2.4 Nginx 1.11, 1.12
  • PHP: 7.* or higher
  • DB: MySQL 5.5 and higher or MariaDB: 10 and higher
  • PHP Extension: Core calendar date pcre session xml gd mbstring standard SimpleXML mysqli

Recommended software

  • WebServer: Apache 2.4
  • PHP: 7.2 and higher
  • DB: MySQL 5.7 and higher or MariaDB: 10.2 and higher

Install

  1. Download latest release from site http://www.roocms.com.
  2. Unpack archive to folder with your site on hosting
  3. Create MySQL BD on your hosting
  4. In browser open link: http://www.your_site.com/install/

Instead of your_site.com use the domain name attached to your hosting.

Attention For security purposes, RooCMS does not support the ability to work with a database without a login and password. When trying to use an empty password for the database, the system will show an error.

Help and tips on working with RooCMS are in control panel. After installation, go to Control Panel - part "Help".

If you use installing RooCMS not on an Apache server, check the .htaccess file to avoid conflicts when playing software.
