It appears that with the launch of Svelte 5, all previous versions documentation has disappeared, along with all REPLS, tutorials, guides...

This contravenes the notion that one can always continue using Svelte 3 or 4.

Normally, one might expect:
https://svelte.dev/docs/svelte/v3/overview or
https://svelte.dev/docs/v3/svelte/overview to work.

API versioning, it's the morally and technically correct thing to do.

Am I missing something?

There is no v3 version, which is almost identical to v4 anyway.

OK, thank you. yes, it's better than nothing.

Some of us have V3 and V4 codebases that will not be migrated.

The statement "you can still use Svelte 3/4, they didn't go away" needs to be supported with versioned docs.
I have literally never seen such an effort at rewriting history in 30+ years of development.
No amount of militant fanboism will make removing old docs and examples acceptable.
Issue may be closed, but fingers have been burned, trust has been harmed.
I am merely the messenger: bubblethink is dangerous for a project.
Bad moves have already been made.

That is literally what https://v4.svelte.dev/ is - the versioned docs. What are you missing?
