I have been trying to install the linguistics package into jupyter notebook, and I get an error message every time saying that sklearn is outdated and to use scikit-learn instead. I have checked my requirements.txt file and it is updated, and I have tried to do every other thing on the troubleshooting list and cannot seem to get the package installed.

probably a package you're installing has sklearn as a dependency and they need to fix that.

So it is not something I can fix myself?

Probably not, you need to figure out which one of your dependencies has the issue and ask them to fix it.
