Extra pixel in fonts (In Mac)

Hey, I was noticing some weird things happening when rendering the fonts. I'm not sure if you already know about it, but I thought I would add it to the issue tracker.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about. if you look closely at the s's and the e's, it looks like it's placing an extra pixel in there.

Yes I was aware of that, but I thought I solved it, but obviously not. You can try and change the distance between the letters here, please try and tell me if that does anything for you.

Tried changing, but it still renders the same.

It might be my machine? I am on a Mac. I did notice that it renders differently with changing the font sizes. To be honest, that font rendering portion in gl (not just Nicol) has always been a bit impenetrable for me. I understand the process, it's just a lot of processing.

Yeah it was a kind of evolutionary thing. Plus, that screen you sent me renders right on my Linux machines and Windows. So there's something with the mac, which I cannot test.

I can second you on the Linux machine. So it must only be a Mac issue, and I'm not even sure it's a Nicol issue rather than a LWJGL issue. I'll edit the Issue subject to be Mac specific.

Unfortunately I don't have any access to a mac machine so I cannot really fix it.
