Bug description

Keyboard layout applet always shows in the tray area despite only one language being installed.

Disabling the applet does nothing, it still shows.

Clicking on the applet icon, primary or secondary mouse button, yields nothing, no menus or anything.

Steps to reproduce

This happened after latest update to Cinnamon 6.6.4 on LMDE7. Once update was done, I restarted computer and noticed a number of changes in the DE including that language indicator.

Expected behavior

If there is only one language / keyboard layout installed on the system, there should be no language indicator in the system tray.

Alternatively, the option to enable/disable the indicator / tray applet should work.

This is fixed in Cinnamon master, we're preparing an update for it.

Note: You will need to enable the keyboard applet though for the EN to disappear. This EN is the IBUS applet. The keyboard applet will be invisible with only one keyboard, but it also hides the IBUS applet if that makes sense.
