TASK: Desktop background for ELN

What does the ELN SIG need to do?

Currently, there are no desktop backgrounds in the ELN package set. The Desktop team chose to remove gnome-backgrounds, and while CS and RHEL have centos-backgrounds (subpackage of centos-logos) and redhat-backgrounds respectively, there is no equivalent for ELN.

Possible choices include:

• Using desktop-backgrounds
• Use the latest fNN-backgrounds
• Creating ELN-specific artwork and a package

Whatever we choose, we will need to create a desktop settings override for it to work, and the chosen package will need to be excluded from RHEL branching (like other Fedora-specific packages).

Just to clarify, you want this in ELN proper, not ELN-Extras ?

One note here. I'm not going to be able to get to this for over a week due to Flock, but I would love to do this. Don't take my silence as not wanting to do this.
But, if you need it sooner, I won't be too sad if someone else grabs this.

Do we want a Logo set in addition to the backgrounds?

We discussed this in the bi-weekly meeting. I am going to create a prototype, and when it is ready, post it here.
I will then present it at one of the bi-weekly meetings for review.
