Matching '.asset' file error when trying to burn a minted NFT

Hi,
I was trying to burn one of the minted assets, but received this error:

ERROR: Searched all available policies in '/opt/cardano/cnode/priv/asset' for matching '.asset' file but non found!

What kind of file do I need for the asset burning and what kind of format should it have?

The policy keys are located in the priv folder /cnode/priv/asset/collection_name/ folder
OS. Ubuntu 20.04, CNTools v10.1.1 - Mainnet

The code for searching policy is here. It looks for *.asset files in that folder (assuming name is posix compliant) - which is output JSON created via CLI containing key policyID
