Describe the bug

Push notifications are not working when app is closed and minimized on android devices.
Push notifications are not working when app is installed as PWA app on iPhone devices.

Expected Behavior

Push notifications should work.

Is there a scenario where push notification working for you?
Do you know that push notifications are disabled by default in the app, unless you ask for permission, and because asking for its permission on app startup is not a good idea at all (because if user says no in web, you won't be able to ask again even in the future!)
So, we decided to ask it in user profile page, where you can see your user sessions, on each session, you can enable/disable push notification for that device which belongs to that user session.

Note that it doesn't mean push notifications only work for those who are signed in, we only put that "ask for permission code" there, you can ask for permission wherever you want!

Note 2: Try testing on our published adminpanel app. After enabling push notification on user sessions' section, open diagnostic modal (Tapping on header 7 times) and then tap on test push notification button.

If it didn't work, please record a video of the steps you do on our published demo adminpanel app.

Yes, when apps are open then only notifications are working.
For iOS device, web app is added as home screen as it is deployed as web client app. While enabling the notification it keeps loading. See below attachments for more information.

Could you please let me know what steps you did after creating project that were related to this?

I have generated VAPID configuration based on mentioned URL. And added that into appsetting files of API and public key into client.web project. I think issue is with Service-worker. Those 2 files are not getting generated after release. Due to this web browser or pwa push notifications are not working. I have valid the csproj files and it has all the required configuration already available. This all steps I have tried. Now, I am able to get the notifications for Android devices so I am good with Android devices configuration. Just need solution for web/ pwa push notifications.

What do you mean by Android devices, the Android app or your PWA on Android?
If it works on Android PWA, but not on iOS, it's likely because of "Subject"
You also have to set it with the value provided by that site.
You can also submit a PR, changing our default "mailto:test@bitplatform.dev" to "mailto:you@example.com", so the next time somebody creates vapid at that site, but didn't copy the subject value to appsettings.json, it would be okay anyway.

Ok thanks for the clarification. pwa(application tried to access as pwa) push notifications on Android devices and iPhone devices are not working. But I have deployed Maui as a android app(APK) to android phone is working as expected.
