a fading king,
his half-formed shroud 
awaiting on the loom,
while much like sharks,
would-be successors
circle round the room,
but any progress 
that gets made
on wrappings for the tomb
is unraveled
by a secret hand
to stall the kingdom’s doom.

A Series of Tomorrows

The More Tomorrow poetry series began on the first day of 2025, when I resolved to create and release a bit of creativity every day of the upcoming year. I chose poetry as a format I could commit to on even the busiest of days. My first attempts were a bit rough, but I like to think I’ve gotten better through daily practice.

Topics are sourced from the daily prompts on various social media platforms. You’ll find my initial versions on Bluesky in a raw and often typo-ridden form. I try to get a more refined version onto the website by the end of the day. More Tomorrow is a living archive where any piece is subject to ongoing rounds of editing.
