This is a gorgeous, 1930's vintage, bias-cut, pastel green silk crepe gown with couture construction and design elements. The gown is sleeveless with a scoop neck in the front as well as at the back. The silk crepe bodice in the front has diamond-shaped panels while the back is embellished with pastel green lace and a flat bow. The gown has a series of snaps on the left side for closure. Under the flat lace bow there is a panel of very fine ruching which is further embellished with fishtails at either side. The bias-cut skirt is full and slightly longer in the back. The gown measures 34" around the bust line, 28" around the waist line, and 38" around the hip line. It would be comparable to a modern day Size 6 and is in excellent vintage condition. ($760. Reduced to $600.)
