The tidal coast is the best place on earth to find texture. Aggregate anemones, barnacles, seaweed, shells, sand and rocks form a dense carpet of living tapestry. I've used felting, embroidery, couching, machine and hand embroidery, beading and applique. 100% hand woven/knitted/crochet wall hanging. This beautiful piece is made with so much passion and love.

This UNFRAMED textile art wall hanging has been made from a collage of vintage and repurposed fabrics, dyed muslin and linens to make a pleasing piece. I love to represent scenes from nature so I left some of the edges frayed to give a natural feel. I have stitched flowers and leaves using a range of stitches. The final piece of art has been attached to handmade paper and mounted behind a gold mount board.
