The DHaus Company has completed The Arches, a row of six partially sunken townhouses in a north London conservation area.

This block of flats is part of a late 1920s estate in Westminster, London, which was designed by world-famous architect Edwin Lutyens as part of a council housing scheme.

The estate was built in grey brick with alternating white rendered squares, creating a bold effect.

3000 Staffordshire blue bullnose bricks were used at Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross, London to restore the old brickwork and match the original brickwork of the old Victorian arches. The authentic Staffordshire blue Ketley bricks suit the industrial heritage of the project perfectly and provide a striking contrast to the sweeping contemporary roof above. The beautifully restored arched structures are now home to an eclectic mix of retail outlets and cafés!
