On other pairs of wings I’ve made in the past, I have used the u-bar method, but the problem with that method is wings of this scale would not be travel friendly, so I needed a method that worked for a strapless bodice (no shoulder straps), could break down, and still give me a good wing span. Not for the wings themselves! ✌️ Since I had to remake the base for my #Mothermiranda Cosplay, I filmed the process and made a small tutorial. It's a very basic base, since Mother Miranda has 10 (!!!) wings and they do not have to move. You can probably use a smaller piece of wood for your project.
