You might already know that the answer to these questions is automatic license plate recognition (also known as “LPR” or “ALPR”). License plate recognition is one of the most widely used analytics within video surveillance. Many Milestone customers use LPR with our XProtect software for traffic monitoring, law enforcement investigations, parking lot and access control management.
