Been coming here for years and always ordered the chicken masala, nasi briyani (best i've ever had), papadums, & mango lassi. Kinda expensive but worth it. Dont forget to order extra papadums! :-)
Seriously good tandoori. Being some friends, get some briyani rice (free flow), a curry and a tandoori chicken and u are set for a wonderful meal! Masala tea goes well after the spicy meal too.
Button Mysore biryani @ $10 is tasty but v spicy. U will sure need a drink and a bottle of water cost $2. The vegetables and biryani can be topped up though which is nice.
One of the famous Indian restaurants in Little India. Order Nasi Briyani. Note that Indian briyani usually comes in HUGE portions. Sharing is recommended. Avoid lunch and dinner timings.
Best mango lassi I've ever had! Nice place and popular among both locals and tourists. We had their signature fishhead curry and some other dishes. Curry was ok, but nothing special. Paneer was better
Nice Masala Tea👍. Quiet nice place with good food, but in my opinion the staff is overpriced. VegetablesTandoori -$22 😲🙄 But there are always crowdy, that means that people like it
Portions weren’t what they used to be; less vegetables given on the leaf. Though the curries were still tasty, meat pieces were quite fatty. Squidcurry was surprisingly tender & tasty.
I prefer the fish head curry at samy's curry at demsey road. The butter chicken was flat. MYSORE mutton not up to the mark. Not for the true curry eaters.
Service terrible -waited 15 mins to order. Cashewveggies meh, fish curry and mysore mutton were fantastic. They were out of the S. Indian Thali which was a bummer!
