    I want to try it in DEFENDER first. I realize that the board was not tested in DEFENDER by you so if it doesn't work, I won't be disappointed or blame you for it.

    It should work theoretically in DEFENDER by just matching the Control Panel Inputs like you can with a C8783 Interface Board. If not, oh well...
