18th century English silk dress

English dress rolled up in polonaise, late 18th century. Size 40/42 french sizes (between 92 and 95 cm in chest circumference and around 70/72 in waist circumference) for a person 1.65 m to 1.70 m. Skirt length middle front under belt = 106 cm. The bodice of the dress is stapled to the stomach piece by 4 staples on each side. Just shift the staples to adjust the bust. It's a complete outfit made up of: - a white cotton voile shirt, with a neckline edged with Calais lace - an ecru damask cotton corset - a white cotton bum-pad - a white damask cotton petticoat, closed at the back by clip and tape under the slide. - a champagne doupion silk skirt, lined with ecru cotton, closed at the back with hooks and drawstring. - a dress in burnt orange and gold silk brocade, changing pink, edged with ruffles of the same fabric. Engageantes in Calais lace and silk with handcrafted chafer eyebrows at the edge. It is raised on the back by 2 ribbons attached to embroidered rings. - a boned stomach piece in the same silk as the dress, decorated with silk frills. - a silk choker closed with ribbon. I took great care in the finishes. Many details are hand sewn: hems, ruffles, lace etc. It is, like all my creations, a unique achievement.
