It is easy to limit your record keeping to numbers. But it is when you keep physical records – samples and swatches – that the real fun begins.

Forget Netflix—now is the time of #Knitflix and Chill. Here’s why more and more people are spinning the yarn on social media.

Below are some of my preferred knitted samples which I feel really express the ideas within my theme. They articulate the notions of distortion and fragmentation well due to the stripes appearing upset and distressed. I have combined a variety of yarns which I feel work best in sample 1, and will perhaps experiment with further. The samples mainly consist of the holding technique and deliberately laddered areas knitted with a contrast of fine and thicker textured yarns. 1 2 3 4
