Near the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, overlooking Mount Fuji, are the creations of Kubota Itchiku, who re-created lost dyeing techniques to make unique kimono artworks. Housed in a museum that won three Michelin stars, these kimonos and the aesthetic sense of the man who envisioned them continue to bewitch visitors.
