Genderflux is a gender identity that varies in intensity over time. This can be gradually, rapidly, or any speed in-between depending on the person. Usually it is consistent but sometimes it is not. Genderflux refers to a person whose experience with their gender identity changes in intensity. A genderflux person's connection to gender may weaken or strengthen at random.[1][2] For example, an individual could be a man most of the time, but then other times that connection to their gender could feel weaker, or even completely disappear. Enbyflux is a gender in which one is genderflux with a non-binary gender. One may fluctuate between feeling strongly gendered (a gender that is not girl or boy), to being agender, to being anywhere in between those extremes. Enbyflux does not necessarily have the same meaning as nonbinaryflux.
