Hi! This is one of my favourite coloured pencil drawings I created recently. I love underwater scenes so I really enjoyed working on this one. Wave Upon Wave Upon Wave (2014) Oil painting by Gray Jacobik

The color is of course, the thing driving this small oil painting, as well as the contrast between the deep blues and the white form, and the textures -- catching the glass-like curls of the waves with their complex reflections, as well as the chaos of the tumbling form, white with air and flung high by the wind.
