So, hey, they're streaming Xam'd over on Hulu now.
If you 1. live in the US, 2. watch anime, 3. enjoy politics, human emotions, and dialogue on how war impacts the body, the spirit, and the intersection between the two, 4. find transformation of the human body, willing or not or non-Christian religious themes at all interesting, 5. enjoy mecha shows and the intersection of enhancement with humanity--you should watch this show. Seriously.
It's within my personal top five or ten of the past ten years, up there with Mushishi nearly, and largely because it's the other side of the coin for me. Xam'd isn't the same, slow, peaceful slice of life, but it is about the intersections of human on human and human on other, and how they can write themselves large against the human condition, and I really, really cannot stop loving it with my heart.
ALSO i just want more people to nerd around with is that so wrong. :(
