I was in blissful forgetful repressedness of the next two anime seasons until someone reminded me and now I gotta do this thing.

(ilu, [personal profile] eisen, I do, I do. :P)

WINTER 2010
There are only two shows that stand out to me here as potential must watches. FRACTALE and HORO MUSOKO. Fractale is written by Hiroki Azuma, a well known cultural critic, so it'll be interesting to see what it does and doesn't do. Horo Musoko is based on a well known manga that deals with issues of culture and trans issues that has a rightfully earned reputation for the quality of the writing.

Other shows I may watch the first episode for the hell of it include Level E, Haioru! Narlko (paging [personal profile] vikarmic to the utterly adorable eldrich horrors horror genre section...) and if I feel fucking insanely self indulgent, Starry Sky.

OAVs have some things I may or may not look at, such as Supernatural (curiosity, also masochism), .hack//Quantum, (same), Tailenders (I'm not expecting QUALITY but I'm just putting it on the guns and bullets section and calling it a day). Maybe Koisento if I let all the things leak out of my brainpan.

SPRING 2011:
On the WATCH list is Appleseed XII because fuck me I love me some Appleseed. A lot, in shameful ways. Also because it is an excuse to rewatch all the Appleseed that came before it!

After that we have the MAYBE list, which includes Steins;Gate, because it reminds me of the British SF picture books of my childhood, Toriko, because it looks funny, Put It All In The Ring because WHY NOT. We'll see about the original stuff.

Oh, and if I hear anything about the XMen and Wolverine being substantially different then the Iron Man show turned out in pacing, maybe I'll watch those.
