Inner thighs play a major role for lower part of the body. It is so important to tone and strengthen the inner thigh muscles because -
1. It adds nice shape and look to legs.
2. Range of motion in legs increases.
3. Reduces injuries in legs
4. Can lift heavy weights without knee pain.
5. Arm balances gets easier.
6. Legs movements gets easier and faster.

It’s my favourite warm up to awaken my spine and also it feels so damn good if my shoulders are tired or stiff. Also I do spinal waves before my backbend practice, as this movements keeps your spine ready for advance backbends. It’s very simple and effective therapy for spine. #sadhana or #selfpractice is very important for a student to progress.
🧘🏻‍♀️ When I started my yoga practice in 2017 I would record everyday practice and I would analyse my self practice later. This way I found it easy to correct my alignments to get better the next time. I would always compare my asana progress with my previous practices. This made me very strong in fundamentals of asanas. Also I would observe how somedays bodies are so stiff and rejects to do even a simple asana which was easy the previous day😂. focus on the breath
I always say, without focus on the breath, it’s not yoga. Just standing can be yoga if there is awareness of breath. And inversely, doing a deep backbend without awareness of breath, isn’t yoga.
