I love this post by @heyamberrae - The difference between guilt and shame is an important one. Guilt says “I did something bad” whereas Shame says “I’m bad.” Guilt says “I made a mistake” whereas Shame says “I’m a mistake.”   When we do something that doesn’t line up with what we value, guilt helps us course-correct.
