I enjoy going to music festivals. I have been to many goth festivals and the odd rock festival, often in Germany. I will probably make it to others. I try and encourage people to go to some of the festivals abroad, as they have a very different line up and can be cheaper than UK festivals. My friend Ade runs Goths on a Bus which does a trip to M'era Luna by coach and it is £260 in 2014 inc camping, which when you look at what you get for your money is outstanding value!

I like going to gigs and the bands I like are numerous and tend to be rock or goth bands. My favorite live bands are Iron Maiden, Mono Inc and Schandmaul though Therapy? are consistently good. I like music to be live and aren't keen on the use of backing tracks or drum machines. If I wanted to see a karaoke act, I'd go to a karaoke night. I also like classical music, but have little idea who produced what piece of music.

I like real cider, and approve of the aims of APPLE and CAMRA. I also like perries, but am not keen on beer or lager. I will drink mass produced ciders, but refuse to drink Strongbow and drinking woodpecker is like drinking water. My favorite most accesible real ciders are Westons Medium Dry, Old Rosie, Addlestones and mostly Aspall's.

I love cats, but unfortunately they trigger my asthma and eczema. I buy the odd things for Anim-mates who are an animal sanctuary in Kent but couldn't have a cat due to allergies.

I like reading, but I mostly read trashy novels by the likes of Tom Clancy, Frederick Forsyth etc. I have read very very few of the top 100 books in the bbc survey. I also read quirky books about Germany and quite often travel guides to where am going. I think it is between London, Berlin and Hamburg as to which is my favourite city.

I live in London and work as a programmer. I produce websites using c# (someone has to) and have recently written my first personal Android program for my phone.
