Etymology
From chrono- (“relating to time”) + -logy (“study of, account of”), after (deprecated template usage) [etyl] New Latin chronologia from Ancient Greek χρόνος (khrónos) (meaning time)+ Ancient Greek λόγος (lógos) (Reason or Explanation). Literally "time reason" in Modern Greek.
