Usage notes

  • Despite the fact the pronoun vós is used in a few dialects of Portugal, it contrasts with vocês in the whole country
  • In Brazil, vós became você outside archaic and liturgical occasions, like in most dialects of Portugal, but the other forms (vosso, vos and convosco) disappeared too.
