Beulah is a town 0f 3,152 people in Mercer County, in the western area of North Dakota. It lies on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad line. Beulah's map coordinates are Latitude 47.26N & Longitude 101.78W, and its elevation is 1,780 feet.

Understand

Beulah is home to a lignite coal-fired electric power generating station, operated by Basin Electric Cooperative. The plant uses coal from the Freedom Mine, owned by Coteau Properties.
