Prijedor is a town in the North of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is about 50 km west of Banja Luka.
The city had a hard time during the recent war but now bolst itself of being one of the few really multi-ethnic towns in the country. The town is in the Republika Sprska.
There is a daily direct bus connection to Dubrovnik, over Split and Makarska, and it also lies on the Zagreb-Sarajevo train-line.
Close to Prijedor in Kevljani, In May, the Most Mira (peace bridge) kids festival [1] is organised
