G League assignments
[edit]While NBA players like Lonnie Walker and Chimezie Metu are on assignment with G League teams, their infoboxes should show the G League team with an explanation in the lead that they are on assignment. Both players appeared in the Austin Spurs’ New Years Eve game and in Walker’s case he hasn’t been cleared to play with the NBA club yet. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 23:03, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
January 2019
[edit]Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Michael Carter-Williams appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 19:18, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Carmelo Anthony, you may be blocked from editing. It's unsourced that the deal is completed. —Bagumba (talk) 01:54, 22 January 2019 (UTC)
NBA Deals
[edit]They aren’t official until the team(s) announce them. I can’t remember a team announcing a deal while one of their games is going on. Please wait until the official announcement before updating these (like the Gasol-Wright reported trade). Thanks Rikster2 (talk) 02:57, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Also, please don’t assume numbers before they are announced. For example, you added #17 to Jonathon Simmons, his old number. Butbthat number is already taken in Philly (Redick). Just wait until teams report the numbers players will wear or add the number to their roster Rikster2 (talk) 03:12, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
Soviet Union (infobox)
[edit]It would be helpful if you could update the Talk page to state why you are making the choices you are making, e.g. why Malenkov has been removed and then added back, and then, once added back, why his date(s) have changed. Other editors besides you (but not me) have also gnawed at the list of leaders in the infobox. I can see why there would be difficult questions here, e.g. exactly which title IS the leader? With the United States, for instance, the convention is that the President is the "leader", even though he's only the leader of one branch of government, and people editing the infobox of the United States don't lose any sleep over that. But with the Soviet Union, on English Wikipedia, I do not know of any such easy-to-remember convention. So whatever convention you are currently using, could you describe it in Talk:Soviet_Union, so that other editors don't accidentally break things? Bruce leverett (talk) 18:19, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. The text of the article on the People's Socialist Republic of Albania says that the "People's Socialist Republic of Albania was officially dissolved on 28 November 1998 upon the adoption of the new Constitution of Albania." So changing the infobox from 1998 to 1992 is unhelpful. The date 1998 seems to come from the adoption of the new constitution, which has a citation. Wikipedia articles are meant to be based on reliable published sources. Toddy1 (talk) 12:07, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
KIA tags
[edit]I note that you have added KIA tags to leaders in several conflict infoboxes. The KIA tag is only used when the person was killed in the conflict and not when someone died of natural causes while serving as a leader. So Ho Chi Minh does not get a KIA tag as he was not killed in fighting, Nguen Chi Thanh arguably does as it appears that he died of wounds sustained in a bombing raid. [edit]Hi. Please do not add uncited material to articles, as you did with this edit to Sully Sullenberger, as this violates Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. I know you may not edit here that often, but since you've accumulated over 4,000 edits since 2018, I'm assuming you've read that Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation. [edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. FDW777 (talk) 13:29, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from 2021 in the United States into Timeline of United States history (2010–present). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:05, 21 March 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm MikeAllen. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from List of American films of 2023. Redlinks are useful and can often be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.
In addition, clicking on the "What links here" link (in the tools listed at the left in desktop view) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Please only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. Thanks! Scream VI Vandalism - Warning, Ignoring Warnings
[edit]You have been told many times that the updated numbers on The Numbers source indicates the box office totals for Scream VI was 168.8 yet you keep rounding it up (incorrectly) to 169. They cannot be rounded it up when they are at .8, not .9. This is beginning to look like Vandalism. Please stop ignoring warnings and reverting this. Even Scream V is left at 138.9 (rounded up from 138,8) but not rounded up to 139 - so Scream VI cannot be rounded up to 169 as the total is even lower again. It is to remain at 168.8 UNLESS The Numbers source publishes another update, which is unlikely this long after the film's release. Again - please STOP adding this incorrect info and ignoring warnings/reverting edits. 2001:BB6:4E52:7D00:AD4D:4C49:94D1:E651 (talk) 10:32, 26 June 2023 (UTC)

[edit]UPDATE THE ACCESS DATES WHEN YOU MAKE CHANGES TO ROTTEN TOMATOES AND BOX OFFICE NUMBERS Mike Allen 21:55, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, please do this. Would like to give you a barnstar for your updating help, but if you don't provide sourcing (access dates), it actually does more harm than good. Cheers! BBQboffingrill me 05:56, 23 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm MikeAllen. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Saltburn (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. WP:WEGOTTHISCOVERED is not a reliable source. Please do not add it to Wikipedia. Mike Allen 18:32, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

When updating critics reviews summaries and gross box office receipts ...
[edit]Hello @Age20035. I am @Archer1234. I noticed this edit and this other edit where you updated, respectively, the Rotten Tomatoes critics reviews summary and the gross box office receipts for Cabrini (film). Thank you for doing that.
However, you should always update the |access-date=
parameter of the corresponding citation used to verify the new information. I have made that update for you, but please remember to do so when you make updates in the future. If you have any questions for me, ask them here or on my talk page. Thank you and happy editing. — Archer1234 (t·c) 22:23, 22 March 2024 (UTC)

[edit] Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Cabrini (film), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. It is disruptive not to include updates to the |access-date=
parameter of the corresponding citations when you update the gross box office receipts and Rotten Tomatoes critics reviews numbers. It appears you do this same thing for every film for which you update those numbers. Please stop these disruptive editing practices. — Archer1234 (t·c) 19:35, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

Gross
[edit]I see you updated the gross but listed two different figures.[6] But Why? Surely listing the same figure twice would be easier and less effort for you?
Also $71.6 million is more than half and normally rounds up to $72 million, it is mathematically inaccurate to truncate it down to $71 million. Please note MOS:LARGENUM which explains how to round large numbers. -- 109.79.168.9 (talk) 19:05, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- Also here(diff). Please explain why you are deliberately choosing to inaccurately truncate figures? Whatever level of decimal places you think is appropriate please just use it consistently and round the numbers accurately. -- 109.79.168.9 (talk) 19:14, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
