Participants

[edit]

I've done a bit of clear-up. I checked the full archives of the listed Polish source, but hasn't found anything there. I. First of all, we should remember that Eurovision Dance Contest during two years has been run on invitation base only. There are countries expressing their interest, however, this is not enough, as there are two criteria for admission: 1) invitation of these countries should give to the contest high professional level, 2) participating countries should be able to finance the contest. Thus, we can only list countries as "interested to enter" but not as "confirmed entrants". II. Using other versions of Wikipedia (as German one for example) as the only source is not possible. The Polish blog articles also should be reconfirmed by other sources before being listed here. AlexeyU (talk) 12:31, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Date

[edit]

I do not see any reliable source confirming the date. If it is there, please provide. I see only the article on the Polish blog, but it uses Wikipedia back as source AlexeyU (talk) 12:31, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Host location

[edit]

Please look at this [[1]] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.163.5.246 (talk) 11:56, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I added the venue information as reported on eurovision.tv. Someone else added Azerbaijan as a participant, which I would assume, but has not been confirmed as far as I know. Jvr725 (talk) 17:11, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ερώτηση

[edit]

Είστε σίγουροι ότι θα διοργανωθεί ο διαγωνισμός??Ρωτάω,γιατί απο ότι φαίνεται είναι πολύ λίγες οι χώρες που θα πάρουν μέρος??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.71.190.231 (talk) 19:51, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Armenia

[edit]

Cannot take part occupier Armenia in the competition has been held in the land of the country occupied.--212.38.116.215 (talk) 09:56, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed Armenia-Azerbaijan issue from the article. It has nothing to do with the contest itself. Azerbaijan has declared that Armenian delegation will be safe and secure in Azerbaijan IF it decides to enter the competition. [2] Armenia, however, declined invitation for participation in the contest 2009 [3] and is highly unlikely to reconsider decision in 2010. AlexeyU (talk) 00:54, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Romania, Latvia and Georgia

[edit]

Thanks for the notice, it is hoax and I'm removing it. AlexeyU (talk) 13:15, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Withdrawal

[edit]

Should we not put Lithuania, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands and Austria in the infobox ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ahmetyal (talkcontribs) 20:01, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, because they were going to withdraw in 2009, but they may decide to take part in 2010, their intentions have not yet been confirmed. AlexeyU (talk) 08:22, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
