Columbia Companion to American History on Film

[edit]

I have removed this addition. The Columbia Companion to American History on Film: How the Movies Have Portrayed the American Past has one mention of the film in the book on page 74 which says "...and gain control of an advertising agency in Jacques Tourneur's The Fearmakers (1958). Most of these films failed as both anticommunist propaganda and as thrilers". It does not even appear to contain the phrases "hardcore anti-communist" or "passionately anti-communist", never mind using them to refer to the film. FDW777 (talk) 16:02, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
