Is this really a region?
[edit]I'm from this area, and I personally think this should be merged with the midlands area as it encompasses the Lake Murray Area (Country? I've never heard such a term for the area).
I agree in some respects... the term "Lake Murray Country" was coined by the tourism association in Richland County. [1] The outfit is known for their mismanagement of Lake tourism and publicity, and as far as I am concerned, this is a made up place. However, I didn't create the page, and to a number of people in the Columbia area, this is a term commonly used so I left this page existing, but I started the page on the lake itself. - grey ghost 22:30, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
