Acknowledging split in greece

[edit]

This page seems to be talking about the Hellas Rugby League organisation which is no longer recgonised by the RLIF and has affiliated with World Rugby League - I think we need to note the split and provide information on the new body (recently played tests in the Balkan Cup). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.154.28.118 (talk) 03:49, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Greece v Hungary

[edit]

Greece won 90-0 I believe. Now I'm not sure if a consensus has been reached on what qualifies for a bona fide international game but it seems just as official as the games against New Caledonia and Italy (possibly more so). I'm going to be bold and put in some details once I find a source and I'll update that biggest win too. If there are any objections feel free to revert and we can discuss it. Cheers!! Greek

[edit]

Can anything be done about getting a version of this article in Greek created?--Jeff79 16:49, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tell me where to put it and i'll do it.--Tiburon 08:49, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really know anything about how it's done. I guess if you can speak greek and use it on your computer you look in the greek wikepedia for the article and if it exists find out how to link it to the english one. It'd be great to see it for all the teams of non-english speaking countries.--Jeff79 19:56, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This is it I'll give it a go.--Tiburon 13:08, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Greece National RL.jpg

[edit]

Image:Greece National RL.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Comment moved from article

[edit]

An IP added the following comment to the article, which I'm moving here: "Please write the correct article with the Greek rugby league started in Sydney with several key figures who were involved in forming and running the game up until 2010. Without these key figures there would be no Greek rugby league. They also help start the game in Greece. The first game played was in 2003. There is a lot of history left out that needs to be added. There are people mentioned that have little contribution to the Greek rugby league at the start. Most of these figures don't enter the picture until after 2011. It would be nice to get a correct history of the early founders that are not mentioned and people that help start the game in Greece before the history gets distorted." added by IP in June 2019.
