Yesterday I included a link to a report from Times Of India that states crime records show no increase in church attacks under NDA compared to UPA. It's a simple factual statement and obviously relevant to the article. Why was it removed? -- Abhi

Impact on Indian caste system

[edit]

This documented article mentions the 2008 Sachar Commission report and affirms "by all available evidence we do find the caste system to be an all-pervading social phenomenon of India shared by almost all Indian communities irrespective of religious persuasions." But no track is available within the cited report.

This "slip" aside, it would be useful to find additional sources, given that the current WP article doesn't provide information about the Indian caste system. Christians affirms the equality of rights and obligations of any baptized believer in respect of God the Creator and of any human neighbous, a view of the world that contraddicts the pyramidal structure of the Indian society. This is specific of Christianism, and not of Islam or other confessions, and it was the main cause of Christian persecutions during the Roman domination and more times in the following centuries.
