Disclosure
[edit]In the interests of full disclosure, multiple ACT on Campus members will be editing this article over the coming weeks as part of a project that we're working on to get more of our history online on to both our own website and Wikipedia. While we realise it's not ideal for people inside an organisation to be too involved in their own wikipedia page, beacause of the nature of our organisation and the time periods, much of the information is only currently known to insiders.
Long story short, we understand the importance of maintaining a NPOV and providing sources, particularly on political articles. We'll do our best to do so, so please don't be too harsh with edits while we in the middle of the process and haven't finished updates, and we'll welcome others going over the article when we're finished to make sure we've done so!

RE: Ideology citation - I don't see any other organisation requiring a citation for their ideology, i'd have thought the topics of the 'campaigns section' would suffice (incomplete as they are at the moment). See above for info on referencing/citations for the rest of the article which is coming.

- That's fine. There is an under construction tag somewhere since most people don't check how new article is. Note that many groups have been deleted for lack of reliable sources (besides own web pages), so good to find news articles, etc, mentioning group, ASAP, including some ref its libertarian; hopefully on more than a few economic issues. Does NZ have a military draft, by the way? :-) CarolMooreDC (talk) 14:30, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Searching for and improving citations
[edit]The article as of 17 December 2019 had only one reference which mentioned this organisation, and that document was a brief mention in a press release. All statements in the article about Young ACT (eg as opposed to facts about legislation) were unsourced. Further, there wasn't enough evidence to demonstrate notability.
Below is my work to find independent significant coverage and evidence of the facts in the article. If we can't find citations providing independent, significant coverage, this should be considered for deletion (or merging with the article on the ACT party). - When the group became ACT on Campus and when it became Young ACT4
- What its formal relationship is with the ACT Party
- How active the group is today, such as membership numbers or activities in the last two years
