The Fortune India 500 is a ranking of the top 500 corporations in India as measured by compiled on the basis of latest sales and gross revenue figures. Since 2010, the list has had its current form, listing also top financial corporations and service providers by revenue.[1]

2010 list

Indian Oil Corporation topped the first-ever FORTUNE India 500 rankings and Reliance Industries wass listed at No. 2. The next three places were taken by State Bank of India, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum respectively.[2]

2011 list

Oil and gas companies Indian Oil Corporation, Reliance Industries and Bharat Petroleum Corporation dominate the Fortune 500 India list for second year also.[3]
