Simone Andrian is an Italian live semi-professional poker player active mostly online but who has since progressed to the live felt.[2]

In September 2024, Andrian won the $800 Ultra Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em (WSOP Bracelet Event #15) at the World Series of Poker Online International for $156,230 besting a field of 1,635.[3]

€10,350 Main Event European Championship is a no limit hold'em championship event held at the European poker championship series World Series of Poker Europe.[4]

The defending champion is Simone Andrian having defeated Estonian amateur Urmo Velvelt in an aggressively played heads-up with none, or little to none, limp-checks.[2][5]

The winning hand was 10 10, raising against A 10, which hold on a board of 6 2 9 7 K after a 50 big blinds 5-bet shove all-in pre-flop by Velvelt who was covered by Andrian.[5][6]

€1,500 + 150 No Limit Hold'em - 6-Max (Bracelet Event #11) is a midstakes 6-handed no limit hold'em tournament held at the European poker championship World Series of Poker Europe during 2021 to the present.[4]

The inaugural winner was Simone Andrian having defeated Czech live pro-amateur Josef Snejberg in heads-up play.[7][8]

Andrian is one of the players that have transitioned well into playing with a big blind ante in that he "defends" (calls) with almost every hand when in the big blind facing a minraise.[citation needed]
