::This closure has recently been contested on my talk page. But while "Redirect" was not "bolded" in anyone's response, it was mentioned as a possible alternative to deletion by several participants here so I opted for that result. <span style="font-family:Papyrus; color:#800080;">Liz</span> Read! Talk! 20:40, 19 April 2022 (UTC) |

A combination of indiscriminate lists does not make the end result more notable, this is an example farm and clear failure of WP:INDISCRIMINATE. While the topic may be notable, it would require a 100% rewrite to be encyclopedic and thus should be deleted. (Let's not get started on the quite literal duplicate version of this list at Egyptian influence in popular culture but at least that article has some (unrelated) prose). ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 02:02, 30 March 2022 (UTC)

- Keep WP:CSC applies, such that yes, lists of individual NN entries are valid lists. While many entries should be sourced to their respective fictional origins, that's not the extent of the notability-supporting behavior. I have four dead-tree books on Stargate SG-1 that detail Apophis and other Egyptian deities' Goa'uld namesakes; ping me if you need quotes or ISBNs. Jclemens (talk) 02:45, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
- Delete. More fancrufty accumulation of tv-tropes trivia that did not magically transform into an encyclopedic article. At best, redirect to Egyptian influence in popular culture, where Ancient deitites should have its own section (in prose). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:54, 30 March 2022 (UTC)

- Delete, clearly indiscriminate info with very little sourcing. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 21:26, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
- Delete Does not warrant a standalone article as currently written. Issues with sourcing. Good candidate to merge or redirect. NiklausGerard (talk) 09:23, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
- Delete as nothing to WP:PRESERVE that is properly sourced. Most of these examples are WP:IINFO and lacking in independent reliable sources. It's possible that someone could start an article about Egypt's representation in fiction, but we wouldn't keep anything from this version. Shooterwalker (talk) 18:42, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
- Delete for the reasons already stated. MichaelMaggs (talk) 15:00, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
